TGIF Friends! Hope everyone is excited for the weekend to come! I am swamped at work today so I had no time to sit down and write a long post.
SO, I wanted to send you all a link to visit Ashley at The Edible Perspective. She is a blogger from Cleveland that I regularly follow and she wrote an interesting post about the benefits of barefoot running! It held my attention because I have ALWAYS felt better when I workout in bare feet than when I wear shoes. I knew I was not crazy!! Does anyone else enjoy working out without shoes on?? What are your thoughts about her post??

Shoes aren’t everything they are made out to be, and I always think
That running (or doing most things) is better without.
I spent 3 weeks in Papua new guinea and learned that even hiking through the rainforest,
It’s safer and more stable bare food. I have sme some barefoot hiking in colorado too. You just have to watch your step.
I have never tried working out without shoes, but I usually jump on the thread mill….

I have never worked out without shoes actually, so it seems quite weird to me! Maybe I should try it sometime.

I don’t like wearing shoes…but in Colorado, it is so dry, so if I go without shoes for long, my feet get dry and cracked. Yuck!
Whenever I do strength training at home I always do it barefoot. There’s something so freeing about it.
I’ve been thinking about getting those barefoot shoes too but since I just bought brand new runners, they’ll have to wait.

I never wear shoes when I workout at home. I was afraid maybe I was doing something wrong, but it just feels more natural to me. Plus, who wants to wear shoes inside the house? I already vacuum enough as it is!
