I’m back!! Thanks for the patience my friends! We enjoyed a Vegas vacation last week and it was challenging to get online to keep up with the blog! Below is a brief glimpse in to our vacation but I neglected to take a lot of pictures. I apologize.
Before we get to that though, I wanted to say thank you to those who participated in the Rocco Cookbook Giveaway!! Congratulations to Laury and Katie for winning the contest!!
The Vegas Vacation
To preface: The family decided to take my Grandma to Vegas to celebrate her 90th birthday. She is quite the character and kept us laughing the whole time. We had a wonderful vacation and we were so glad we were able to celebrate with her!! Happy Birthday Grandma!

The family took Grandma to see Donny and Marie for her birthday. Brandon and I missed out. Oh darn!! But just look at the souvenirs you could purchase!

We also took Grandma to Margaritaville for dinner. They made her a balloon animal hat with a big 9-0. My mom snapped those shots but these are the "birthday girl" ears we made her wear. Could not stop laughing!

One more win!! This was the result of one pull on the Wheel of Fortune slot machine. Thank you Pat!!
(again, I'm never this lucky in gambling!)
Just a brief glimpse! I hope you enjoyed!!
Have you ever been to Vegas? If so, what was your favorite part about the trip?

I wish I had known you were there when we were! I totally would have called/texted you about the Nutella burger
[...] I talked about going vegetarian for the next week or so because we were such carnivores on our Vegas trip. In general, I would classify myself as a flexitarian. I don’t omit meat completely but [...]
Your grandma is precious (as are you). I love that you all took the time to celebrate her in such a fun city! I’ve only driven through Vegas so it was fun to see your pictures and to hear a bit about your experience. I would probably get over stimulated very quickly! Thank you for sharing. I hope you are having a relaxing Wednesday night
Total cuteness. You won?! I swear I think I’ve only netted like $20.
Glad you were living large in Vegas.
. Looks like you all had a blast. And Grandma looks too cute in her headband.

i have been to Vegas 7 times, which is rare living on the east coast
We LOVE it there!!! There is SO much to do, and we always find something new to check out when we go. My favorite things were seeing LOVE in the Mirage…best show ever. The dinners, the night I took a bunch of Canadian Golfers for all their money at the poker table
and when we did bottle service on the rooftop at Pure in Caesars. Oh, so many other favorites, I couldn’t even name them all!!! Such a great place!!!!
Haha, awww I love the pic of your grandma with the antennas! Looks like you enjoyed Vegas. I def want to visit there with friends someday.
How awesome about the money!!! Dang, second pull- lucky!
I’ve been to Vegas once but I was 10 and couldnt even walk through the casinos alone. It was still so much fun, though. We stayed in the Luxor and toured around all the hotels, saw some shows..it was grat. I’m definitely going back once I’m 21!!

I went to Vegas a while ago, maybe 8 years? We saw Cirque Du Soleil’s O- I loved it! It had synchronized swimming in it and I used to compete, so it was cool to see
