Vegas Vacation

I’m back!! Thanks for the patience my friends! We enjoyed a Vegas vacation last week and it was challenging to get online to keep up with the blog! Below is a brief glimpse in to our vacation but I neglected to take a lot of pictures. I apologize.

Before we get to that though, I wanted to say thank you to those who participated in the Rocco Cookbook Giveaway!! Congratulations to Laury and Katie for winning the contest!!

The Vegas Vacation

To preface: The family decided to take my Grandma to Vegas to celebrate her 90th birthday. She is quite the character and kept us laughing the whole time. We had a wonderful vacation and we were so glad we were able to celebrate with her!! Happy Birthday Grandma!

Welcome to Vegas Grandma!!

Our first night on the strip...Grandma was quite the gambler. :)

$100 on the poker machines (second pull!!). This never happens to me!! I was thrilled!

What's a visit to the Bellagio without checking out the chocolate fountains?

My Dad ordered an apple crepe from the chocolate fountain candy shop. He let me steal a bite! Mmmm

The family took Grandma to see Donny and Marie for her birthday. Brandon and I missed out. Oh darn!! But just look at the souvenirs you could purchase! ;)

We also took Grandma to Margaritaville for dinner. They made her a balloon animal hat with a big 9-0. My mom snapped those shots but these are the "birthday girl" ears we made her wear. Could not stop laughing!

While they were in the show, we checked out the Bellagio fountains...

and Brandon did a little modeling session...

The next day we ventured to the Hoover Dam...the weather was gorgeous!

We also split a burger at the New York New York hotel.

One more win!! This was the result of one pull on the Wheel of Fortune slot machine. Thank you Pat!! ;) (again, I'm never this lucky in gambling!)

Until next time!!

Just a brief glimpse! I hope you enjoyed!!

Have you ever been to Vegas? If so, what was your favorite part about the trip?
