I am joining Land’s End and 21 other women from Curvy Girl Guide to help promote the first ever NATIONAL SWIMSUIT CONFIDENCE WEEK, a movement which celebrates women of ALL shapes and sizes, encouraging EVERYONE to embrace their swimsuit beauty!!
Land’s End was kind enough to send me a FREE swimsuit to show off my bathing suit confidence and although I’ve been nervous about this post since last week, I knew I had to rise to the challenge and just have fun with it (body image issues aside).

I am here to represent for ANYONE who has ever felt insecure, not good enough, or just plain down on themselves about their body! We need to stop the hate and start loving ourselves just the way we are! So whether you are a size 2 or size 22, please remember one thing: YOU ARE GORGEOUS and ROCK that suit this summer!!!

Ok, for me it’s not the body image, it’s the tan lines. I have the worst farmer’s tan and I am definitely a bit self-conscious about it. Even Nick told me I need to work on it before I have to wear a dress to a friend’s wedding. It does look mighty TACKY!
Either way, I support everyone who is a part of this. It’s GREAT! And, I love your new suit!

Ugh..I FINALLY got over here…I have been trying to get Ella to let me put her down all day. I was lucky enough to have an hour this AM to make the bed, get dressed, and reply to a few comments on my blog..then, it was all about imprisoning mommy to the sofa. I am counting down now while she is in her chair another scream for me haha. Not sure if I can get my post together by the end of the day today for this contest

This summer will be a new found swim suit rockin action. It’s the first summer I’m not frantically trying to lose 5 lbs to look good in my bikini. I look good dang it, regardless of my weight.
How perfect is this!? =) I was in my first swimsuit of the year at my first beach trip of the year today and of course I felt like a pale out of shape goober but I was so happy at how it wasn’t keeping me from running around like a crazy person on the beach with my husband for a fabulous day — and people watching.. made me realize there are lots of women that rock their suits no matter what! lots of preggo ladies too which always makes me smile (i think a mommy to be in a bikini is adoooorable! and so inspiring!) anywho – i’m rambling! you’re super cute in your snazzy free suit and thanks for the fabulous message dahling! mwah!
Every week is swimsuit confidence for me – I swim 4-6 days a week. Goes with the territory, so I never give it a second thought.
