My darling daughter was baptized yesterday. Although it was gloomy outside, Hannah was like a little ray of sunshine. She was so sweet and well behaved the entire day and I was so proud of her!! These are a few pictures from her big day:
There were about 30-35 people who joined in the celebration afterwards. Above is a picture of the table centerpieces and below is the triple layer white cake we made for her. There were SO many delicious desserts though; chocolate covered pretzels, pumpkin pie cake, apple crisp (probably my favorite), and pineapple upside down cake! Yuuuuuuuuum!
Hannah was blessed with lots of beautiful gifts from our friends and family. Her Aunt (Godmother) bought her first cross.
Another special gift? Before my mother passed away, she wanted to leave Hannah a special gift, something that could be added on to each year. She chose 10 charms. Below is a picture of the start of that bracelet. My mom chose an “H” for Hannah and the teal charms, my Dad contributed the angel wings and the “C.” Needless to say, this was an emotional gift for me. Miss her so much…
I was so thankful to all my family and friends for sharing in such a beautiful, special day. The day was a huge success!!
By the time everyone left, all three of us were exhausted. As Brandon, Hannah, and I were all cuddled up on the couch, the sun suddenly came out and made the trees and sky look AMAZING. I’d like to think my mom had something to do with that. <3
QUESTION: What did you do this weekend?
