The Healthy Apron is a website dedicated to health, fitness, and above all…FOOD! Here you will find advice, recipes, giveaways, and more from founder and registered dietitian, Erin Coates RD.,LD.! Follow this daily blog, which captures a down to earth and realistic approach to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, while also inspiring you to try out new recipes from personal cooking adventures. Check back daily for frequent updates or subscribe and receive new entries via email (click on the blue envelope on the left hand side bar)!
 Mission:
The mission of The Healthy Apron is to inspire minds to create healthy foods that are delicious. The Healthy Apron community will acquire the tools needed to revamp their lifestyle into one that values prevention of illness, to live a long and prosperous life.

 Behind the Apron

The Healthy Apron was founded in January of 2010 by Erin Coates RD., LD.  With a strong passion for nutrition, Erin is dedicated to serving the community and showing people how to make healthy taste delicious!

Erin does not only want to show people how to cook REAL, healthy foods, she also hopes to inspire you to reach your own health goals; weight-loss, improved fitness, disease prevention–>to name a few!

While The Healthy Apron is still in it’s beginning stages, with the help of the community, Erin hopes to evolve in to a nutrition business, offering nutritional consultations, weight-loss programs, and e-books!
