Instead of creating another list of healthy breakfast ideas, we decided to ask over 15 nutrition experts and bloggers a simple question:
What Is Your Healthy Breakfast Choice and Why?
10 nutrition experts answered to our call. Btw, all of them have websites with a lot of useful information.
So visit their websites & share them with your friends.(We do not getting compensated for this in any way)
I actually was absolutely amazed by the responses we received and the motivation to contribute that these nutrition experts showed.
Big thanks to all amazing people who participated in this.
What Is Your Healthy Breakfast Choice and Why?
Andy De Santis, RD, MPH.
My Breakfast of Champions
I have very clear views on what I think a healthy breakfast should include. Although I am not a vegan, I strongly believe that the inclusion of animal products like eggs and dairy at breakfast is both overrated and unnecessary.
Most of us get enough of animal-based products at other times throughout the day, which is why I'm such a massive advocate of an exclusively plant-based breakfast.
My personal favorite combination involves some form of healthy plant-based fat ( usually one of avocados, almonds or sunflower seeds) and some form of fruit ( usually bananas but it varies based on seasonality).
We all need more of the nutrients contained in these foods, which is why this is the type of breakfast I often advocate to my clients.
You would have a hard time to convince me there is a healthier, more delicious or more convenient breakfast combination out there.
If you're confused about which direction to take to improve the quality of your breakfast, give this potent combo a shot.
I promise you won't regret it.

My Breakfast Choice
Roxanne B Sukol MD, MS.
Your Health is on Your Plate is changing the way we talk about food. Pure and Simple. Sometimes we eat to nourish ourselves, and other times to entertain ourselves. Where we get into trouble is when we eat entertainment under the mistaken impression that it nourishes us. Think about muffins, bagels, waffles, pancakes, biscuits. Obesity is not an overindulged state. Obesity is a malnourished state. And when we improve the nutritional value of the foods we eat, our clothes start to fit better.
