What Is Your Healthy Breakfast Choice and Why?

10 nutrition experts answered to our call. Btw, all of them have websites with a lot of useful information.

So visit their websites & share them with your friends.(We do not getting compensated for this in any way)

I actually was absolutely amazed by the responses we received and the motivation to contribute that these nutrition experts showed.

My Breakfast of Champions

andy breakfast choice

I have very clear views on what I think a healthy breakfast should include. Although I am not a vegan, I strongly believe that the inclusion of animal products like eggs and dairy at breakfast is both overrated and unnecessary.

Most of us get enough of animal-based products at other times throughout the day, which is why I'm such a massive advocate of an exclusively plant-based breakfast.

My personal favorite combination involves some form of healthy plant-based fat ( usually one of avocados, almonds or sunflower seeds) and some form of fruit ( usually bananas but it varies based on seasonality).

We all need more of the nutrients contained in these foods, which is why this is the type of breakfast I often advocate to my clients.

You would have a hard time to convince me there is a healthier, more delicious or more convenient breakfast combination out there.

If you're confused about which direction to take to improve the quality of your breakfast, give this potent combo a shot.

I promise you won't regret it.

My Favorite Breakfast

My favorite breakfast is a stir fry with vegetables, extra virgin olive oil and about 3 whole eggs.
Then I add salt or some other spices for flavor.
This breakfast provides lots of fiber, high-quality protein and healthy fats.
It keeps me full and satisfied for 4-5 hours without many calories.

My Healthy Breakfast Choice

Blueberry Coconut Oatmeal Bake
Definitely oatmeal!
Some people don't like the texture of the cereal, so try an oatmeal bake! Incredibly easy and hands-off to make, this simple breakfast is filling and rich in nutrients.
Balance the fiber rich carbohydrates of oats with healthy fat and protein in almonds. Coconut milk boosts flavor and is so satiating, keeping you full for hours.
Blueberries are packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. In particular, blueberries are high in the antioxidant flavonoid anthocyanins which are believed to have positive effects on blood vessels, supporting the cardiovascular system and providing potential anti-cancer effects.
Best of all, this dish makes perfect leftovers that are portable to heat up at work or school.

My Breakfast Choice

Everyone needs a filling breakfast to start their day.
My favorite jazzed-up oatmeal recipe is easy to put together and is very nutritious. It’s high in fiber to keep you feeling full, and the sprinkle of almonds, hemp hearts & milk adds protein.
You could always throw in a scoop of protein powder too, and modify the recipe to include your favorite grains, fruit, buts and seeds.
Double, triple or quadruple the recipe and keep it in the pantry to make the morning quick and easy!

Your Health is on Your Plate is changing the way we talk about food. Pure and Simple. Sometimes we eat to nourish ourselves, and other times to entertain ourselves. Where we get into trouble is when we eat entertainment under the mistaken impression that it nourishes us. Think about muffins, bagels, waffles, pancakes, biscuits. Obesity is not an overindulged state. Obesity is a malnourished state. And when we improve the nutritional value of the foods we eat, our clothes start to fit better.

Breakfast Choice

My favorite breakfast is a sweet potato with a generous scoop of peanut butter or almond butter, depending on the week and what's in the fridge.

Wendy's Breakfast choice

Wendy Lopez breakfast choice
I usually start my day with a green smoothie that has a balance of nutritious carbohydrates, fat, and protein.
My perfect smoothie is usually spinach or kale, frozen blueberries, plain Greek yogurt, ground flax seeds, and unsweetened almond milk.
The frozen blueberries add a beautiful blue color, thanks to their anthocyanin content, a category of phytonutrients that may help protect against the development of cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other chronic conditions.
This combo is simple, satiating, and delicious!

My healthy and delicious breakfast

Healthy, Wheat free, Flour-less Pancakes
I love pancakes in the morning... it's the highlight of my day! Not everyone has time to make pancakes, but I make up some pancake batter in a big batch and then you can use it for several days.
I make mine in my Nutri bullet... just blend a handful of oats, 1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds, 2 tablespoons of ground almonds, 2 eggs, a small tin of coconut cream and 1 small banana.
Heat some coconut oil in a frying pan, drop in spoonfuls of the batter, leave it alone until bubbles appear on the top, turn and allow them to cook through.
Serve with berries, yogurt, perhaps a few chocolate drops!

Here is one of my ultimate favorites...

Heart Beat Green Smoothie
Listen, I would be surprised if your mornings are totally serene, peaceful, and quiet.
I know some of you are the exception and have your morning routine down, but if you are like most of us, mornings can be hectic, scattered, and rushed. I have focused my attention on my morning routine for years.
The mornings when I can, I am strive to give myself at least 30 minutes to rise and shine before my kids, to have some time to meditate, practice, and nourish myself well.I have found mindful mornings tend to make ALL the difference in how my day unfolds.
The truth is, sometimes it just doesn't go that way.
Did you forget you were out of milk?
Push the alarm one extra time?
Have a teenager whose hair just wasn't working out?
Or forget about that extra stop you have to make for gas on the way to work or school? All it takes is something small to throw our mornings into a tailspin.
Not only will a simple and healthy breakfast taste good and work in our full schedules, but one that is blood sugar balanced will also keep our energy consistent throughout the day, decrease inflammation in our bodies and best of all get those crazy cravings under control.
Heart Beat Green Smoothie
Health Fact: Since most of us love our sweets, it would be best to ban the refined white stuff and curb our cravings by using the natural full sweet substitutes that leave us satiated and energetically balanced.
The sweet flavor, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, is the most nourishing flavor, all the way from breast milk to a homemade dessert.Sweetness nourishes the body to the highest degree and sings to the heart’s strength and longevity.
The taste of life and the true experience of food connect the body with a soul, and heart with mind.We chose beets for you, firstly because we love hot pink, (kidding).
Truly, the juice of this delicious root vegetable is rich in antioxidants and naturally occurring healthy nitrates.
When consumed, the body converts nitrates to nitric oxide, a compound that enhances blood flow in the vessels and helps lower blood pressure.
The Goods:
  • 1/2 small sized beet, chopped in ½’s or ¼’s
  • 1/2 cup strawberries or blueberries
  • 1/2 banana
  • 16 oz coconut water
  • 2 large kale or spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup full fat greek yogurt or vanilla protein powder
Preparation:
  • Add these goods into your blender and BLEND for 30 seconds or until smooth.
  • Enjoy!

My favorite breakfast

Honey Almond Cherry Granola
There are so many healthy breakfast options!
Some of my favorites include eggs with tomato and avocado, oatmeal with a little brown sugar and maple syrup topped with blueberries, and another favorite is granola with yogurt and berries.
The granola I love to make is made with rolled oats, walnuts, hemp hearts and dried cherries. All of these ingredients provide fiber that is not only satisfying but also has heart health and gut health properties.
The nuts not only provide plant based protein and fiber, but heart healthy fats, too.
Most store bought granolas have lots of added sugar and oils but my version has a little bit of honey and minimal added oil that keeps the oats crispy and flavorful.
